Summary:

The Executive Director is responsible for overall management of the Sauk Prairie Healthcare Foundation (SPHF), including the planning, implementation and administration of all organized development activities for the purpose of generating charitable gifts that support hospital and foundation programs. Maintaining strong ties between SPHF and SPH and ensuring that foundation plans are developed in alignment with the hospital’s strategic plans and goals is a key responsibility of the Executive Director The Executive Director supports, trains and advises the SPHF Board of Directors, oversees foundation gift and grant making programs, advises the SPH board and leadership on philanthropic and governance matters, and plays a key role as a “face” of SPH with patients, staff, donors, and the community at large.

Educational Requirements:  Bachelor's degree in nonprofit management, fund raising, communications/public relations, business, marketing, government relations or related field required. Master's degree in business administration, health care administration, or related field desirable. 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar setting required. Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered. Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) by the Association of Fundraising Professionals or equivalent achievement required within 2 year of appointment.
