Marshfield Clinic Health System (MCHS) oversees Marshfield Clinic and other subsidiaries, including Security Health Plan of Wisconsin, Inc., Marshfield Clinic Information Services, Flambeau Hospital in Park Falls and Lakeview Medical Center in Rice Lake, Wisconsin. Marshfield Clinic, with more than 50 locations in Wisconsin, serves patients through accessible, high quality health care, research and education; with more than 700 physician specialists in over 80 specialties and subspecialties and more than 6,500 employees.

The Gift Officer is responsible for establishing and growing Marshfield Clinic Health System Foundation’s philanthropic presence where Marshfield Clinic has a significant presence. This role develops, cultivates, solicits and stewards a portfolio of 150-200 major gift prospects and donors for gifts of $10,000 or more that will benefit research, education and patient care needs at MCHS. The Gift Officer works closely with members of the Foundation team to promote a team environment and enhance communication and efficiency efforts while playing a supportive role in annual giving, special event sponsorship acquisition, donor cultivation events, planned giving and volunteer management.

Requires:

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, business, or related field
  • Five years of experience in fundraising
  • Advanced computer skills required in Microsoft Office products
  • Valid Wisconsin driver’s license, with acceptable driving record and maintain for the duration of employment
  • Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) certification provided by the Certified Fund Raising Executive International preferred
