Lessons Learned Through 50 Years of Nonprofit Development: A Conversation with Boris Frank, Doug Moe and Jeanan Yasiri Moe

An original member of our Greater Madison Chapter of AFP (then the National Association of Fund Raising Executives), Boris Frank’s career has spanned more than five decades. His commitment to the nonprofit sector has enhanced organizations as varied as youth music, animal welfare, human services, and education through fundraising and capacity building. In 2010 Boris received the Lifetime Achievement Award at our local recognition luncheon for National Philanthropy Day. At our April 17 membership program, Boris discusses his career and what continues to inspire him with Doug Moe and Jeanan Yasiri Moe, celebrated journalists and community advocates who have known and worked with Boris over the years. Whether you are just starting your career in fundraising, a seasoned professional or a dedicated volunteer, you’re encouraged to join us for the conversation.

CFRE Refresher Course
CFRE International

Deadline to register is June 1st!
Course materials have been newly updated!

The AFP CFRE Refresher Course offers development professionals an opportunity to review the main components of a complete fundraising program. It is an intensive program intended to provide an overview, organized around the domains of the Certified Fundraising Executive (CFRE) exam, rather than on specific fundraising strategies. This course helps participants identify gaps in their knowledge by working through abbreviated case studies referred to as “caselets.” Participation in the course may assist individuals in learning or reviewing concepts covered on the CFRE exam as detailed in the Test Content Outline provided by CFRE International on its website. The course will be presented by AFP Greater Madison member, Marcy Heim, CFRE, The Artful Asker.
