The Madison Museum of Contemporary Art – an independent museum of modern and contemporary art offering free exhibitions and education programs in the community for more than 115 years – seeks a Director of Development to lead the Development Department. The Director of Development collaborates with the staff and Board of Trustees of the Madison Museum of Contemporary Art to secure contributions for the museum’s programs, operations, endowment, acquisitions, and capital needs. This includes the formulation of a comprehensive development plan with strategies to achieve MMoCA priorities. The Director of Development works closely with the museum’s Director and Board to cultivate and steward potential and existing donors, and secure major gifts and sponsorships for MMoCA’s programs and events.
